Favorite spots

There are several ways to add your preferred location to your favorite spots. In general tap or click on the "star" symbol nearby the location name, either in our search function, on the map or on top of our spot forecast.

You may manage your favorites using the favorites menu in the header. Alternatively, you can toggle favorites directly from the map. Select your favorite location and tap or click on the favorite button in the appearing popup.

You can also create a Windfinder account and store your favorites and settings there and share them between your devices. Navigate to our signup page and create a Windfinder account there.

The favorites can only be saved if you use your browser in normal mode (not incognito / private mode). Please make sure to activate cookies for the Windfinder website and that you do not clear your browser data after each session.

Our map menu offers an option to show or hide your favorites. Please make sure favorites are activated on the map. If the problem persists, try to refresh the page.
