Porto Pollo is an Italian town on the northern shore of Sardinia. It's a famous spot for kite- and windsurfing in the mediterranean sea. Other popular areas in the north of Sardinia, for example Porto Liscia, Capo Testa and Vignola can be reached from Porto Pollo within less than 90 minutes of driving.

With regards to wind- and kitesurfing, Porto Pollo is suitable for a range of styles and skill levels. The surfing area can be found just north of Porto Pollo. Interestingly, it is divided into two by the dam connecting Isola dei Gabbiani with the main land.

Consistent winds can be expected especially in spring and autumn, although stronger winds will mostly occur during spring and early summer. The area tends to be rather crowded during the summer holiday season.
