About this spot

Mallipo Beach is part of the part of Taean Coast National Marine Park. It is situated just south of Cheollipo Beach and the Cheollipo Arboretum, and 18km the west of Taean. The national park itself features 26 beaches along a 230 km coastline, all along the Taean Peninsula and Anmyeondo.

The beach itself stretches out over 2 kilometres and has very shallow waters that make fore relaxed swimming, but beware of the rather high tidal range.

During winter, the climate is dominated by continental high pressure systems, bringing dry weather and harsh cold spells. Summers are hot and humid.
