More than 60 kitesurfers started in both men's, women's and junior's freestyle and race competition. On friday we had very gusty offshore wind conditions, which was a real challenge for all competitors. Mario Rodwald was the best in these conditions and won the men's freestyle competition. The women's competition was won by newcomer Anne Valvatne. On saturday the junior's competition started, but the wind dropped and the competition could not be finished.

The race competition was held in light wind conditions, where a lot of racers had to fight because of the difficult conditions. Experienced racer Gunnar Biniasch was the best in these conditions and won the race.
