In the men's freestyle competition, the current world champion Aaron Hadlow lost in the quarter finals, giving way to his opponents Kevin Langeree and Youri Zoon to fight up for the finals. However, Spanish rider Alex Pastor was the man to beat on this day - he won against Langeree in the finals. Today in the double elimination, Hadlow came back with a very strong performance, but lost against Zoon. After Langeree won against Youri Zoon, it was clear that he would be the new world champion 2009, although he lost against Alex Pastor in the final who won his first World Cup ever. Congratulations to Kevin Langeree and Alex Pastor!

Pulido was very motivated to come back in the doubles, but lost against Karolina Winkowska in the semifinals. In the finals, Brasilian rider Bruna Kajiya could secure her first place and thus becoming world champion. Congratulations to Bruna Kajiya!
