The German Windsurf Cup had a great weekend during the White Sands Festival on the island Norderney in the North Sea. The competition had good winds on all days so that both Racing and Slalom competitions could be held. 
In the Racing competition, Norderney local Bernd Flessner used his best knowledge of the conditions to win all races. Windfinder Windsurf Team members Gunnar Asmussen and Denis Standhardt came in in second and third placed. In the Slalom competition, the 13-times champion Flessner had packing fights against youngster Vincent Langer, who won the competition in the end. 
The final results for the competition at Norderney are as follows:

4. Denis Standhardt / Windfinder Windsurf Team
The windsurf cup riders will now take a four-week break before the next competition at Dranske / Rügen in the Baltic Sea from July 3rd to 5th.
