Starting at May 5, the PWA Windsurf Worldtour stays at Podersdorf / Lake Neusiedl in Austria. In the beautiful scenery around the lake, the best and fastest windsurfers of the world will try to get points in the Slalom competition there. There are already over 70 competitors registered for this event, including the top three windsurfers from last year, Antoine Albeau (F-192), Björn Dunkerbeck (SUI-11) and Kevin Pritchard (US-3).
The wind forecast for Podersdorf / Lake Neusiedl as well as the Superforecast for the same location are not that good at the moment with stronger winds only at one day, but hopefully this will change in the next few days so that we can see an exciting competition. Keep an eye on the wind forecast maps for Austria to see changes in the general weather situation. During the event keep an eye on the wind reports for Podersdorf to see the current conditions in real time. There are also live webcams there (1, 2) to see the competition in real time.
