From Sept. 5th to 7th the third and last stop of the German Windsurf Cup 2008/2009 takes place in Schönberger Strand/Kiel. About 50 riders have registered to gather valuable ranking points in the discipline racing, slalom and wave-freestyle. The spot is a favorite of Kiel's windsurfers and provides best conditions for the event.
Beside the German Champion Bernd Flessner and others, windfinder team riders Gunnar Asmussen and Denis Standhardt have also registered. Germanys best female windsurfer Steffi Wahl will also be there. Last year she was 3rd in the discipline wave riding in the World Cup in Sylt.
