The 4th day of the PKRA Kitesurf Worldcup started with the single eliminations in the Freestyle discipline. The wind was blowing from south west at 17 Knots. In the men's Freestyle this year's top 3 riders and Tom Hebert advanced to the semi finals. The reigning world champion Aaron Hadlow (England) defeated Tom Hebert (New Caledonia) in the first semi final while his toughest rival for this year's championship Kevin Langeree (Netherlands) beat Alvaro Onieva (Spain) so once again Aaron and Kevin met in the final which Aaron managed to win in a close battle.
In the women's Freestyle Bruna Kajiya (Brazil) won over 14 year old world champion Gisela Pulido from Spain.
When the Freestyle was over race director Olaf van Tol ran a course race with Charles Deleau (France) winning ahead of Sean Farley (Mexico) in 3rd, Sami Gali (Spain) in 4th and Sebastian Bubmann (SKBUe/Germany) in 4th. After 5 races Charles Deleau is leading overall ahead of Sebastian Bubmann and Sean Farley. In the women's course race Gina Esteva (Spain) consolidated her lead with a win ahead of Kristin Boese (Germany) who is 2nd overall.
If the wind forecasts for Skt. Peter-Ording proves to be true then a double elimination is very likely which would allow the winner of the loser's round to compete against the winner of the single elimination.
