The crowd at the PKRA tour stop at Kite Masters 2008 in Portimao, Portugal (Wind Forecast, Superforecast) saw a great event with a lot of wind so that all competitions were held in good conditions. The freestyle competition was especially interesting as "old-school" tricks like Board-Offs and One-Footers gave extra points, so that the competitors had to show those besides their technical new-school moves.

Kevin Langeree and Susi Mai (profile video) did this better than the rest of the competitors and won the Kite Masters 2008 competition. Congratulations!

The race event was held in twelve heats. The riders on their specialized race boards also had hard fights in every heat. In the men's competition, Charles Deleau was the winner as he could win eight heats. Steph Bridge won the women's competition after finishing first in seven heats. Congratulations!
