The DWC VOLVO SURF CUP 2008 in Westerland/Sylt is promising to be a special windsurfing highlight this year.
The top German and international windsurfers will fight for the title of the German Master in the disciplines racing, slalom and wave/freestyle.
The event will take place from July, 23th to 27th at the "Brandenburger Strand".
More than 70 riders have already signed up for the event. Fun and action besides the competitions are guaranteed by a big social and party programme.
The North Sea island of sylt is one of the most challenging surfing spots worldwide and is a garantor for first class windsurfing.
Besides the well known "superstar", the 12 time German master Bernd Flessner, you should also have an eye on the promising members of the Windfinder surf team, Denis Standthardt (GER-189) who reached the top 10 last year and Gunnar Asmussen (GER-88).
