After month of hard work, despair, and pain Windfinder finally releases the first beta of Windfinder Gadget for Windows XP. The Windfinder gadget is a small program, which displays wind, waves and weather from your favorite surfspot as observations and forecasts on your computer desktop (Google sidebar). This Gadget version (0.9.4) still contains a few bugs and misses some features. We will hopefully iron out the bugs and add the missing features very soon. In order to use the Gadget on Windows XP (SP2) you need to install the Google Desktop Seach first. After a successful installation of the Google Desktop please go to the Gadget page to download and install the Windfinder Gadget for Google Desktop.
